Siwash guests will snuggle in these custom design tents that harken back to the romantic era of Hemmingway's Africa. The two room canvas-clad suites have a master bedroom with a curtained doorway, which when tied back, offers sweeping views of the forest, meadows and lake beyond—right from the king-size bed. An interior doorway leads from the master bedroom into a separate living room with a pullout sofa bed, fireplace, and an alcove with two single beds.These tents offer 1,000 square feet of living space, each with a spacious sundeck, hardwood floor, and an en-suite bathroom with indoor plumbing (including flush toilet!) at the back end of the tent. A door leads from the bathroom into a lovely indoor/outdoor shower cocooned by overhanging fir boughs.
The Siwash luxury tents are very private, with more than 150 ft (50 m) between them.
