One bedroom canvas-clad suites have a king bed, sofa, fireplace, hardwood floor, a spacious sundeck overlooking the ranch meadows or wilderness lake, and a full heated bathroom with outdoor river rock shower cocooned by overhanging fir boughs.
Two-bedroom tents feature all of the above plus a separate room with two single beds.
Siwash is ideal for adventurous people looking for something completely different—a sophisticated boutique environment with an authentic, intimate ambiance—truly your home away from home. In this gorgeous wilderness setting, we only welcome a select few guests at a time, with a maximum of 16 in June and September, and up to 24 when hosting families with children throughout the summer.
This luxury guest ranch is one of few in North America that is honestly and completely immersed in the wilds, with the steady hum of Nature all around. Our secluded hideaway is set on 160 acres of private pastures; grassy wild hay meadows ringed by aspen and pine forests. Ranch gates open on all sides to a guiding territory that encompasses 80,000 acres of range land. The lodge—our genuine ranch house—and the variety of guest cabin and ultra-luxe lodge and tent suites, are all designed to be in synergy with Siwash's natural ranch landscapes. Our nearest neighbour, a working cattle ranch, is over a half-hour drive away on gravel roads.
The lodge's French doors open to a spacious deck overlooking the lake, where you can share your day's riding adventures over drinks and appetizers while wild birds serenade from the nearby pines. Or you can retreat to one of several verandas, to steep quietly in the gentle ebb and flow of the great outdoors.
Inside, the lodge features laid back, western-style luxury—old-fashioned country charm and the rustic flavour of frontier living—superbly blended with casual elegance reminiscent of the Victorian era. Honey-hued log walls embrace a great room with magnificent river rock fireplace, a library and a fine dining room where only organic, ranch grown and locally produced food is prepared fresh and with love each day. The cathedral ceiling great room, with its western decor, overstuffed furniture, vintage fabrics and antiques makes for a relaxed and comfortable haven at day's end, when there's always a roaring fire burning.
With the lodge's great room, cozy library and several dining areas, there's plenty of indoor space for guests to spread out comfortably. The main 24-seat fine-dining room with lounge area features family-style dining and intimate window settings for two.
Eight distinctive guest ranch accommodations, including the boutique lodge, barn loft and tent suites on the Ridge, feature heavenly beds dressed with the softest linens, private baths, balconies and exquisite views.
